“Paradise for the Frustrated” is a VR experience that transforms the emotional turbulence of failure into a poetic journey of self-acceptance. Divided into four immersive chapters, the work invites players to traverse surreal spaces that mirror the psychological phases of frustration—denial, resistance, reflection, and release. Each space functions as both an inner landscape and an emotional mirror, where the player’s interactions slowly shift the tone of the world itself.
Through subtle environmental storytelling and non-verbal cues, the experience explores how frustration, when faced rather than escaped, becomes a threshold for growth. The absence of explicit narrative allows personal interpretation to unfold within gestures, sound, and light—turning moments of loss into moments of rediscovery. In this way, Paradise for the Frustrated reframes “failure” not as an end but as an intimate dialogue between control and surrender, consciousness and release.
The project has been showcased as an independent VR artwork focusing on interactive narrative and emotional design, recognized for its innovative integration of spatial psychology and reward feedback systems.
